Real Estate guitarist/vocalist Matt Mondanile may hail from New Jersey, but Ducktails actually started in a tool shed in Northampton, Mass. The band name is a play on the title of the animated tv series, DuckTales. The instrumental track "Apple Walk" was released in 2015, not on a studio album but a self-release titled Mirror Image.
